Mette was born and raised in Copenhagen, Denmark. She moved to the US in the 1990s to attend college. After graduating with a MBA from Loyola University, Mette worked in the financial industry for several years in Chicago.
She resigned from her job when she felt the call of God to attend seminary. Mette attended Trinity Evangelical Divinity School where she graduated with a Master of Divinity in 2014. She has since been involved in teaching in the local church as well as speaking at women’s retreats.
In 2015 Mette made New Hope Christian Fellowship her home. She finds joy daily as the office manager at New Hope. In addition, she also teaches the Wednesday evening Bible Study as well as the Sunday morning Discipleship class.
Mette’s passion in life is not only to teach the Bible but also to see lives transformed by the power of the Scriptures as God has and continues to change her life. It is a privilege to serve at the church she has come to love.
